The role:

Reporting into Head of Client Services, this person will be responsible for the successful and profitable operation of client projects. They will have a deep interest and enthusiasm for the live events industry, and will be ambitious to grow with a dynamic team. They will have a hunger to ensure we are carving out great relationships, and delivering the best solutions for our clients.

Account Management and Development

  • Develop a deep understanding and appreciation of our clients’ business, ensuring solutions and delivery are always on brand, and in line with objectives.
  • To grow long lasting relationships with our clients, ensuring retention of key client projects, and exploring and identifying growth potential within these accounts.
  • As part of a growing team in Ireland, be commercially aware of any new business opportunities outside of existing clients and to bring these to the attention of the Head of Client Services.
  • Work with the Head of Client Services to develop and implement a specific CRM program to facilitate retention and growth of client account relationships, year on year, and build loyalty.
  • To take overall responsibility for all accounts that come under remit.
  • To attend networking/client events as appropriate.

Responsibilities – Operations

  • To collaborate with internal teams, including creative and client services, design, production, and the wider event management team to devise winning solutions that deliver on client objectives.
  • To develop strong relationships with market leading suppliers, to ensure we are providing clients with the most innovative solutions, and cutting edge production techniques.
  • To produce and manage accurate and comprehensive event budgets, ensuring maximum value to both client and Clive.
  • To take responsibility for the planning, logistics and management of allocated client projects.
  • To lead and conduct site visits, and to ensure all relevant H&S documentation is in place.
  • To manage the delivery of the events on-site, ensuring that the highest standards of service are maintained throughout.
  • To take responsibility for all the invoicing, post-event correspondence/reconciliation and CRM input.
  • To be a contributing member to the Clive global team, actively participating in internal meetings, and updating teams with learnings and industry trends.
  • To be an industry expert! This person must have a passion for events, and must be hungry to learn about new and innovative creative ideas.
  • To attend trade shows / familiarisation trips and supplier presentations / receptions whenever possible and as appropriate.
  • Generally, to act as positive, professional and responsible ambassador for Clive.

  • Always Creative: creativity is at our very core. We are looking for someone with a inventive approach to events, with the ability to bring novel event concepts to fruition.
  • Operationally Excellent: we are looking for an event professional with at least 4 years’ experience, with a focus in experiential and conferences. They must have experience delivering complicated projects both nationally and internationally, to the highest standards.
  • Great at Relationships: this person must have the ability to communicate effectively both internally, and with clients. Great relationships drive our business, and as such this person must be confident and engaging when it comes to developing positive client relationships.
  • Constantly Inquisitive: they must have a proven ability to respectfully challenge and interrogate briefs to extract scope and deliver best results.
  • Serious Fun: we’re looking for an honest and integral team player with a good sense of humour.
